Rachel Noel Dumovich, age 29, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Rachel was born in Highland Park, Illinois, and was the beloved daughter of Art and Shelley Reimann, and cherished sister of Jason Reimann. She is also survived by her grandmother Mae Kottke, aunt Kristen Kottke, cousins Jake, Emily, and Jena Kottke, and many loving friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Lee Kottke and uncle Mike Kottke. Rachel also leaves behind her devoted dogs, Dash and Cedar.
Rachel graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in 2014, where she was a proud two-sport varsity athlete in cheerleading and track. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2018, consistently achieving Dean's List honors each semester. While in college, she volunteered as a Big Sister and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
Known for her drive, ambition, and passion, Rachel was a natural connector, advocate, and loyal friend. She had a strong sense of empathy, compassion, social justice, and fair play, always championing those who needed a voice. With her exuberant spirit, quick wit, and unfiltered humor, she brought energy and laughter to every room she entered.
Rachel loved her friends, family, traveling, fashion, decorating, cooking, and especially life at the lake.
Following graduation, she began a career in Human Resources, quickly advancing to become Human Resources Manager for Climate Pros, LLC, where she was employed for nearly four years. Her colleagues shared that there has been an outpouring of love, respect, and admiration for her, a testament to the profound impact she made in her professional life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Light of Christ Church, 1700 Longmeadow Parkway, Algonquin, Illinois, followed immediately by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Rachel's life are invited to attend.
Memorial may be made to Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, or the Sharon Lions Club.
Rachel was deeply moved by a sermon given by Pastor Kendall Koenig referencing the poem "The Dash" by Linda Ellis. She truly lived her dash with as much love, courage, and passion as any person ever could.
The family wishes to thank all who have offered love and support, especially Kaylaa Conklin, Erin Yazel, and Kylee Fetzner for their help in coordinating the service and for their unwavering emotional support.

Prayers for her entire family. I am so sorry for your loss. A bright and beautiful girl, with a beautiful heart and sole, taken far too early. Please find some peace in knowing she is with our Lord Jesus.

I was working at Novo Group when Rachel joined us for a few months, and we remained Facebook friends since then. I very much enjoyed her positive spirit and enthusiasm for life. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends who are suddenly grieving her. She was a light in this world.

So deeply saddened to hear of Rachel´s death.

She was my recruiter and later HR generalist at Climate Pros Inc. where we worked together for nearly 2 years. During this time we became good friends and would often jokingly chat via our companies internal instant messaging and email systems.

After leaving CP, Rachel and I stayed in regular contact and she continued to advise me on general HR related matters with my current employer.

She was an amazingly sweet and kind person. I will forever feel indebted to her for her sound guidance and her friendship.

We shared a continuous inside joke the entire time we knew each other about always "being on the same page" and would religiously end our texts or calls by adding the pages to the book of our conversations.

I sadly now close that book far far sooner than it should have been.

I would like to extend my DEEPEST condolences to her parents and her close group of female friends and travel companions whom she spoke of often. If I am this upset by her passing I cannot even begin to fathom your enormous loss.

May the Lord grant you some peace during this disastrous time and bless you always.

With love and respect.

Our daughter and Rachel met and became quick friends when working together for Climate Pro´s. , even though they were separated by hundreds of miles. We didn´t have the opportunity to meet Rachel but we knew she had to be a very special person to hold such a special place in our daughter´s heart.
With deepest sympathy
