Rachel Noel Dumovich, age 29, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in McHenry County, Illinois.
Rachel was born in Highland Park, Illinois, and was the beloved daughter of Art and Shelley Reimann, and cherished sister of Jason Reimann. She is also survived by her grandmother Mae Kottke, aunt Kristen Kottke, cousins Jake, Emily, and Jena Kottke, and many loving friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Lee Kottke and uncle Mike Kottke. Rachel also leaves behind her devoted dogs, Dash and Cedar.
Rachel graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in 2014, where she was a proud two-sport varsity athlete in cheerleading and track. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2018, consistently achieving Dean's List honors each semester. While in college, she volunteered as a Big Sister and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
Known for her drive, ambition, and passion, Rachel was a natural connector, advocate, and loyal friend. She had a strong sense of empathy, compassion, social justice, and fair play, always championing those who needed a voice. With her exuberant spirit, quick wit, and unfiltered humor, she brought energy and laughter to every room she entered.
Rachel loved her friends, family, traveling, fashion, decorating, cooking, and especially life at the lake.
Following graduation, she began a career in Human Resources, quickly advancing to become Human Resources Manager for Climate Pros, LLC, where she was employed for nearly four years. Her colleagues shared that there has been an outpouring of love, respect, and admiration for her, a testament to the profound impact she made in her professional life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Light of Christ Church, 1700 Longmeadow Parkway, Algonquin, Illinois, followed immediately by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Rachel's life are invited to attend.
Memorial may be made to Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, or the Sharon Lions Club.
Rachel was deeply moved by a sermon given by Pastor Kendall Koenig referencing the poem "The Dash" by Linda Ellis. She truly lived her dash with as much love, courage, and passion as any person ever could.
The family wishes to thank all who have offered love and support, especially Kaylaa Conklin, Erin Yazel, and Kylee Fetzner for their help in coordinating the service and for their unwavering emotional support.
