A public visitation for Rachelle Larsen will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck.
Rachelle Marie Larsen was born on May 24, 1978, to Arthur W. and Mary R. LaChapelle in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was raised in St. Paul and Moundsview, Minnesota and received her education at Central High School, graduating with the class of 1996. Following high school, she took some college courses at the University of Minnesota in Morris and on-line through Rasmussen College. For the last 23 years, Rachelle has made her home in Starbuck, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Kacy Lee Larsen on July 10, 2004, in Starbuck where they continued to live.
Rachelle loved bingo and movies – she was an amazing movie critic! Rachelle loved to be outdoors, spending time with her family, especially if they were having a cookout; butterflies and bling. In addition to caring for her family, she also loved taking care of and loving on her animals.
Rachelle died on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota after a lengthy battle with several health issues. She was 45 years old.
Rachelle is survived by her husband, Kacy of Starbuck; children: Alexis Larsen and Zachary Larsen; step-children: Kacy Larsen II, Elijah Larsen, Brett Larsen, and Angelina Larsen; one granddaughter, Aurora; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kristi and Steve Grothe; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie Swenson and Steven Grothe II; her parents, Arthur and Mary LaChapelle; and brother, William LaChapelle; and her seven nephews and nieces.
Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck, Minnesota, is in care of arrangements for Rachelle.
