Rafael Ruiz Chávez, de 67 años, residente de Elgin, Illinois, falleció el 9 de febrero de 2026. Nació el 25 de marzo de 1958 en Yuriria, Guanajuato, México, hijo de sus queridos padres, Salvador Ruiz y Amalia Chávez.

Rafael asistió a la escuela primaria en Álvaro Obregón, México, donde sus primeros años formaron al hombre trabajador y humilde que llegaría a ser. A lo largo de su vida, se le conoció como alguien que hablaba poco, pero observaba mucho. Su carácter tranquilo transmitía fortaleza, y cuando demostraba afecto, era profundamente sincero, reflejo del amor genuino que albergaba en su corazón.

Rafael trabajó para Grant Power Landscaping, dedicándose fielmente a su trabajo. Se enorgullecía de mantener a su familia y vivía con un tranquilo sentido de la responsabilidad.

A Rafael le sobreviven su esposa, Rosa María Juárez; sus hijos, Mario, Alejandra, Isabel, Rafael y Manuel; sus padres, Salvador Ruiz y Amalia Chávez; sus hermanos, Moisés, Joselvis y Javier; y sus nietos, Jacqueline, Enrique, Liz, Khriz, David, Gabriel y Bárbara.

Su sepultura se realizará en Fray Elías del Socorro Nieves en Yuriria, Guanajuato, México.

Rafael attended elementary school in Álvaro Obregón, Mexico, where his early years shaped the hardworking and humble man he would become. Throughout his life, he was known as someone who spoke little but observed much. His quiet nature carried strength, and when he showed affection, it was deeply sincere - a reflection of the genuine love he held in his heart.

Rafael worked for Grant Power Landscaping, dedicating himself faithfully to his work. He took pride in providing for his family and lived with a quiet sense of responsibility.

He met the love of his life, Rosa, in the same town where they both lived, and together they built a beautiful marriage that lasted 43 years. Their life together was rooted in commitment, endurance, and shared memories.

Though he was a man of few words, Rafael found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching action movies, resting after a long day, and especially spending time playing with his grandchildren. Birthdays and holy days were meaningful to him - moments when family gathered, laughter filled the room, and memories were made.

Rafael's love was not loud or dramatic; it was steady, intentional, and true. Those who knew him understood that his quiet presence spoke volumes. His affection, when shown, was sincere and deeply felt.

He will be remembered for his calm spirit, his devotion to his family, and the quiet strength that defined his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Juarez; children, Mario, Alejandra, Isabel, Rafael, and Manuel; parents, Salvador Ruiz and Amalia Chavez; brothers, Moises, Joselvis, and Javier; and grandchildren, Jacqueline, Enrique, Liz, Khriz, David, Gabriel, and Barbara.

He will be interred at Fray Elías Del Socorro Nieves in Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico.
