He was born on September 28, 1967, in Mumbai, India to Atmaram and Nalini Thakur.
Rajesh attained a Masters of Science in Technology degree from IIT, Bombay in Mumbai, India. He had a successful career as a IT Consultant.
He loved playing chess, videography, photography, and traveling. Rajesh was very outgoing and always put a smile on everyone's face. He always uplifted any room he was in. He loved his wife and kids; especially traveling around the country with them, taking memorable videos and pictures along the way.
Rajesh is survived by his adored wife, Tanuja Thakur of Pittsburgh, PA; and his cherished children, Aditya Thakur of Atlanta, GA and Aditri Thakur of Boston, MA.
