With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Rajinder Bhardwaj, who left us on May 23, 2025, at the age of 49.
Rajinder was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, whose presence brought warmth, joy, and laughter to all who knew him. Rajinder was the loving husband of Pooja Chandna and the proud father of his two beautiful daughters, Risha and Sanvi. He is also deeply mourned by his parents, his brother Ramesh, and a wide circle of friends who considered him family.
Rajinder's professional life was marked by his dedication and excellence. As a Senior Director at Clinical Pharma and Translational Medicine, he made a significant impact on his field, but it was his personal life that truly defined him. His passion for family was unmatched. He was always there for his loved ones, often going out of his way to make sure they were cared for, supported, and loved.
Rajinder was a wonderful and responsible son and was always there for his parents. Even though they lived in India he kept a check on their well being by visiting them every year and over daily FaceTime calls. As a loving husband he was there to encourage and support Pooja during her studies and professional progress. He shared the domestic responsibilities with Pooja so she could pursue her career and personal goals.
His dedication and support to his children were unwavering. For his older daughter, Risha, he wasn't just a father, he was her best friend, her "Besti." He rarely said "no" to her and always did his best to fulfill her wishes, whether it was a simple Taco Bell dinner or organizing her Sweet 16 celebration the way she dreamt of. Rajinder had big dreams for Risha, inspired by her outstanding academic achievements. With every successful step from Gifted and Talented to Honors and AP academics he celebrated her accomplishments with family and friends. One of his proudest moments came in 2024, when Risha graduated from HindiUSA after seven years of rigorous and dedicated hard work.
He worked tirelessly to help his younger daughter Sanvi, grow into the smart and beautiful girl she is today, including spending countless hours to help her be a swimmer and successfully achieve Black Belt in Taekwondo. He was determined to give her every opportunity to thrive, embodying the very essence of a father's love and devotion.
Rajinder had a vivacious personality that lit up every room he entered. Known as the charm of any gathering, his laughter, energy, and warmth made everyone feel like family. He had an open heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was offering advice, support, or just being there when someone needed him. His presence was a blessing, and his spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched.
In his own life, Rajinder also prioritized his health and well-being, maintaining a strong passion for fitness, a balanced diet, and overall wellness. He believed in living life to the fullest and encouraged those around him to do the same. Rajinder's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish the time they had with him and the memories that will live on.
In closing, we would like to share a thought that we believe captures the essence of Rajinder: "A life well lived is not measured by accomplishments alone, but by the love and kindness shared along the way". He lived with a big open heart, and that legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him. A private family service will be held to honor Rajinder's life.
