Raleigh Douglas Ballou, 73, of Hyde Park, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, October 21st.
He was preceded in death by his parents (Ethel and Earl Ballou) and many siblings. He was one of twelve children and was born and raised in Tateville, Kentucky. He proudly retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years.
He leaves behind his four children, Tammy Ballou-Fox, Brandi Ballou (Adam Case), Taylor Ballou (Lindsey) and Brent Ballou, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Luca (Sergio), Dillion Fox and Dawson Fox, Siblings Lois Blevins (Ballou) and Don Ballou.
Raleigh lived life to the fullest, to the beat of his own drum. We will miss his larger than life personality, sense of humor and the love he had for his family. He was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood on Thursday, October 27 from 5-7PM, with funeral services following at 7PM.
