Raleigh David "Davy" Goad

Raleigh David "Davy" Goad, 95, of Victor, WV, passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Ansted Center after a short illness.
Davy was born on January 20, 1930 to Raleigh C. and Hester McGraw Goad on the Goad Farm, where he had lived most of his life.
In addition to his parents, Davy was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Marlene Nutter Goad in 2019, a sister, Lou Goad Roberts Eckle earlier this year, two infant siblings, and his daughter-in -law, Brenda Hypes Goad in 2021.
Mr. Goad worked in the trucking industry for much of his life, retiring as owner of Falls Sanitation.
Surviving Mr. Goad are his son, James Glen Goad and his wife, Melinda, of Rainelle, WV; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Naaman) Dunn of Hurricane, WV and Melissa (Jonah) Pritt of Ansted; four great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Joshua and Ella Dunn of Hurricane, WV and Rachel Pritt of Ansted, WV.
A graveside service officiated by Charlie Pritt will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Hawver Road, Victor, WV.
The family wishes to thank all of Davy's caregivers, friends and others who made his days brighter in his sunset years.
