That's my dad. A wonderfully humble and generous human. Thank you for teaching me how to grow and tend a garden- so I can enjoy and appreciate what land has to offer, to share abundance with neighbors - whether it be food, service, or company, and to be inappropriate at times-because everyone needs a smile.

I met Ralph once and that's all it took, I was smitten with his awesome personality and contagious smile, you could feel the love the family had for each other, I hope he enjoyed the whistle I sent him! Julie I now know where you got your sense of humor. I will pray for peace for all of you.

Ralph was a great man, he always had the ability to make me laugh. When we were neighbors I would come home to find my lawn cut, I´d give him a hard time saying he didn´t need to do that and the answer was always the same, "no problem I was already cutting". He was a mechanical genius always finding a way to make things work even though they were pretty much junk. One of the greatest things I loved was when Ralph and my father became great friends, my pops loved him and the two together was always a good time. Unfortunately times change and I hadn´t heard from Ralph in years but I always thought of him and always hoped he was doing well. He was a great friend and a person I loved. My thoughts and prayers go out to Alice and the rest of the family.

My deepest condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of being his mail lady over the last year and almost half. He was a treasure and I looked forward to seeing him daily. He will be truly missed!

Alice I am so sorry for your family´s loss! Ralph was my Dads best friend. I dearly loved the time I spent with both Ralph & yourself. I still laugh about the time he allowed me to dye his hair! We laughed SO HARD when I rinsed out the color & his hair ended up a weird orange red!!! He laughed & was such a good sport. Some of my favorite times in my life included both yourself & Ralph. He always showed up at M & D´s house with donuts. He will always be a shining treasure in my heart. My life was blessed having both you & Ralph being part of it. My prayers go out to you & your entire family. I send my condolences to each one of you. Again, I´m so very sorry for you & your family´s loss. Ralph will live "forever" in my heart!
I will always be grateful & love you both! Next time I see you again, I´ll bring the donuts! Goodbye for now my friend You definitely earned your angel wings
