RALPH WARREN BROWN of Overland Park, KS passed away on November 14, 2025. Born August 18, 1942, in Liberty, Texas to Ralph Wilfred Brown and Ocie (Miller) Brown. Ralph was proceeded in death by his wife Patricia "Patte" (Allen) Brown, his parents, and sister Glenda Boyd. Survivors include daughter Sandra Wittwer (Overland Park, KS) her husband Chris, their children Andrew and Ellie along with Ralph's son Patrick and grandchildren, Patricia Robinson (Austin, TX) and Matthew Jamison (Cedar Park, TX) along with his great grandson Grayson Jamison. He also leaves behind his nephew Kenneth DuCharme, and nieces Debra Yzaguirre and Melanie Peterson and several great nieces and great nephews.

Ralph graduated from Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas before attending and graduating from Sam Houston State, where he met his wife Patricia (Patte) of nearly 40 years. On Friday, November 14, 2025 Ralph joined the Chapter Eternal as member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Ralph began his career working for The Traveler's Insurance company in San Antonio, before moving back to Houston to begin working for Swiss Re. During this time, Ralph also served as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Army National Guard of Texas until his honorable discharge from service. He continued his professional career moving to Prairie Village, Kansas. Ralph later returned to Texas, living in Dallas, working for Winterthur International for the final chapter of professional years of service as a Vice President of their American division, until his retirement in 2013.

Ralph had many hobbies including running, playing tennis, and taking care of his lawn. Most of all Ralph loved spending time later in life with his family and seeing his grandchildren. He was fun loving and wanted all to enjoy life experiences, spending several summers coordinating family vacations for all three generations to be together near sand and water. He was often silly and liked to kid around if a stranger cut him off in the parking lot or did something that irritated him, "They" were in trouble, they just didn't know it….or likely care. He wore t-shirts that were a size too small, worn too thin, and said things like "Over 40, and looking Sporty" well into his 60's. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and finally a great grand father.

A private celebration of life will take place in Houston, Texas at a later date. Time can't erase the love and care you gave and we thank God for the years He allowed you to spend with us. We love & miss you very much. Your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all extended family and friends.
