Ralph E. Brown

Ralph E. Brown, 77, of English, Indiana died on December 12, 2025 at his residence. Ralph was born on April 25, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Raymond H. and Mabel A. (Saltsgaver) Brown.

Ralph formerly worked for Brockway Plastics for 23 years and then for Masterbrand for 20 years in Maintenance. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during Vietnam. He enjoyed doing woodworking in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda K. (Highfill) Brown; sisters, Naomi Bullerdick and Dorothy Shafer; and brothers, Howard G. Brown and Paul E. Brown.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela R. Parker of Owensville, Indiana and Melissa D. Brown of English, Indiana; sisters, Frieda D. Jones of Huntingburg, Indiana and Carolyn S. Sears of Clarksville, Indiana; grandchildren, Levi T. Parker, Austin W. Parker, and Nathan P. Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Karson L. Parker and Brooklyn Parker.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Mathers Chapel Cemetery near English, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, all at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959.

The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and their staff, for the excellent care that was given to Ralph and his family.
