Ralph Cameron Clelan

It is with a heavy heart that we announce on the morning of July 6th 2024, our community unfortunately lost a precious presence and a beautiful person. Ralph Clelan passed away at the early age of 56 peacefully in his sleep. Ralph was a beloved son, father, uncle, friend, and husband. He was bereaved five years ago from his wife and best friend, Heather, and is survived by his son Jaedan, his daughter Kamryn, the Brady bunch siblings Kelly, Gary Jr., and Angelo, and his father, Gary Sr.
Ralph grew up as an athlete, spending every moment he could on a field with his teammates and family. His passion for sports was unrivaled. He played baseball and football growing up and eventually moved onto playing baseball at Foothill College. After his time playing for Foothill, Ralph moved on to coach South Tahoe High, Carson High and Galena, where he made unforgettable memories and connections.
Heather and Ralph reunited in Tahoe and got married in December of 2002. They created a beautiful family and had two amazing children; Jaedan and Kamryn, who were his world and the apple of his eye. He continued working for South Tahoe Refuse and later moved onto working at Safeway.
Ralph was a simple man whose charismatic nature could lighten the mood of any room. His jokes never failed to catch a laugh and his knack for creating nicknames was unparalleled. Ralph was a dedicated man whose responsibility to his family was demonstrated by his work ethic and his pure love.
Ralph was a man of memories and stories and cherished them all so deeply, so please, all are welcome to join the family for Ralph's Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday July 27th, 2024. The event will take place at Tahoe Paradise Park beginning at 11am. There will be food, stories, and plenty of love. We will have a table with empty scrapbooks and we invite all of you to bring your favorite picture of a memory with Ralph and add it to the books. Feel free to bring personal chairs or towels as there is also extra seating space and beach access.
