Ralph Custar Obituary

Ralph Charles Custar, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Judith "Judy" Custar; cherished son of the late Charles Howard and Mary Elaine Custar. Devoted father of Eric (Monika) Custar, Matthew (Sarah) Custar, and Rachel (Will) Peplaw; loving grandfather of Audrey, Owen, Reilly, Shreya, Malakai, Benji, and Meadow; dear brother of Don (Nancy) Custar; brother-in-law of Paul Hudek; uncle of Kelly Custar.

Ralph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as an E4 Military Advisor in Thailand. He graduated from Lisle High School in Illinois in 1962 and attended the University of Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship. In 1974, he married Judy in Jacksonville, Illinois. Throughout his career, he managed and owned tire and auto service businesses in Illinois and later operated Mark Twain Tire and Auto in Hannibal, Missouri, until his retirement. He was a devoted fan of OU and University of Illinois football. Ralph dedicated his life to Jesus Christ in 1974. Ralph was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services: The family is being served by Baue Funeral Home. Visitation will be held March 3, 2025, from 10:30 – 11:30am at First Assembly Church, 4750 N. Service Road. Service to follow 11:30 am. Visit Baue.com
