It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Ralph D'Angelo, a devoted husband, cherished father and grandfather, proud veteran, and loyal friend. Ralph passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Evelyn, with whom he shared a life filled with laughter, travel, and devotion. Together they built a family rooted in love, raising two children: their daughter Lynda, married to Elvin, and their son Joseph, married to Michelle. Ralph was a proud and doting grandfather to Annabel and Angelina, who brought him endless joy.
He is also survived by his sister Louise and brother-in-law John, along with many other family members, all of whom he held dear.
A proud veteran, Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Army. After his military service, he continued a life of commitment and courage as a New York City Police Officer, dedicating 25 years to protecting and serving his community.
Ralph's greatest pride was his family. His love was constant and his support, unwavering.
He was also a passionate sports fan-never missing a New York Giants game-and took great pleasure in sharing that enthusiasm with those around him. In his younger years he was an avid deer hunter.
Ralph will be remembered for his warm heart, and funny jokes. He was always ready to help. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A life well-lived, and a man deeply loved-Ralph's memory will remain forever in our hearts.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at he John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York
