Ralph Day Obituary
He was born July 16, 1923, in Petrolia and was the son of the late Ralph and Ethel Carolyn (Larimore) Day.
Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He was a member of Happy Hunters and the East Butler Fire Hall. Dick worked at Penn Champ and served as a mayor of East Butler.
Surviving are his three daughters, Jean Lumley of Butler, Patty (Ed) Nagy of Butler and Nancy (Gary) Neff of Butler; seven grandchildren, Staci, Brian, Brandi, Shawn, Angie, Amy and Dustin; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Regis and Larry Day; and three sisters, Joyce Collier, Cindy Coleman and Maxine (Jim) Kamerer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy May Day, who passed away on July 6, 2017; two brothers; and three sisters.
DAY - Friends of Ralph "Dick" Richard Day, who died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday followed by a service with military honors at 6 p.m. at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Private burial will be held in the North Butler Presbyterian Cemetery, Oakland Township.
