Ralph Cornelous Hill, 91, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at his residence. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with O. D. Bowling officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Garden.
Born on May 21, 1934, to John and Evie Royer Hill, Ralph was a United States Navy Veteran. He enjoyed farming, hunting, spending time with his family, and making people laugh. He was a pipefitter and welder for many years. He loved construction work and building things with his hands.
Survivors include his children, Keith (Patsy) Hill, Bruce (Donna) Hill, and Denise (Jeremy) Wallace; grandchildren, Amy Hill Harris, Allison Hill (Brian) Pigg, Adam (Pam) Hill, Jessie Wallace, and Daniel Wallace; great-grandchildren, Nathan (Loryn) Cagle, Landyn Hill, Blakley Hill, Logan Pigg, Lawson Pigg, and Sarah Pigg; sister, Carolyn (Alan) Morgan; sister-in-law, Carolyn Coker Hill; brother, Gene (Candy) Hill; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evie Hill; sisters, Kathleen Knight, Opal Crowson, Maxine McCaghren, and Ruby Steadman; brothers, John Hill and Jack Hill.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Wallace, Adam Hill, Nathan Cagle, Carl McCaghren, Chris Evans, and Colton Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Battleship Iowa Museum through the Pacific Battleship Center or to the Korean War Veterans Association.
