Mr. Ralph Laughter, age 77 of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 16, 2024. He was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on September 15, 1946 and is the son of the late Leonard and Mafo Arrowood Laughter.
The Lord was first in Ralph’s life. He attended the Nealsville Church of God where he served as Clerk and Choir Director and was a former Chief of Glenwood Fire Department. Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and father-in-law.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Connor Laughter; two children, Cindy Reel and husband Eric, and Denny Laughter and wife Kristy; two sisters, Dorothy Wright and Shirley Arrowood; two grandchildren, Sophia Laughter and Keaton Laughter who was his world.
The family will hold a celebration of Ralph’s life on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Nealsville Church of God at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tim Macon, Doug Carpenter, and Charles Atkins officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will have a receiving of friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday February 19, 2024 at Beam Celebration Center.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Greg Vaughn for his help during Ralph’s time of sickness.
