Ralph L. Marolda Age 80

Ralph L. Marolda, age 80, founder of C & K Trucking, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Beyond his work, Ralph had a passion for travel. He loved seeing new places, making memories, and experiencing all that life had to offer. Those who knew Ralph will remember him as a strong and determined man who never backed down from any challenge and who always did what he could for the people he loved.

He was the beloved husband of Gwendolyn (Edwards) for 35 wonderful years. Ralph was a devoted father to Daniel Marolda, Tony (Jennifer) Morsovillo, and Rick (Carolyn) Morsovillo.

He was a proud and loving Papa to Anthony, Nicholas (Jessica), Allison (Josh), Emily, Hailey, Ricky (Katie), Dominick, Blake, and Cameron, who brought him endless joy and were truly the light of his life.

Ralph was the cherished son of the late Ralph and Mildred Marolda. He was a loving brother to the late Marlene (the late Joe) Chocola, the late Ron (Mary Louise) Marolda, and the late Frank (Mary Ellen) Marolda.

He will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Ralph's legacy lives on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the work ethic he instilled in those around him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to Our Lady of the Woods Church, Mass 10:00 a.m.
