Born on September 23, 1943, in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, Ralph was the son of Ralph A. McCoy Sr. and Mildred V. (Atkinson) McCoy. He built a meaningful life rooted in faith, curiosity, and family. On November 9, 2013, he married Diana Stivers-McCoy in Spencer, beginning a chapter filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
Ralph dedicated his career to computer analysis, bringing patience, precision, and problem-solving to everything he did. Beyond work, he found joy in many pursuits, singing, exploring the outdoors, delving into politics, tinkering with technology, and capturing life through the lens of his camera. His faith was central to his life, and he was a proud member of The River of Life C.O.G.O.P. Church in Spencer.
Ralph's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diana; children Greg (Jill Beagle) McCoy, Mindi (Steven) Schneider; step-children, Allen (Kathy) Stivers, and Tammy (Scot) Lowe; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Charles McCoy, Robert McCoy, and Arlene Beall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Susan (Wilson) McCoy; and his sister, Bonnie Matthews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at West & Parrish Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to West & Parrish Pedigo Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Services. Online condolences may be shared with Ralph's family.
