Moxley, Ralph Dale, 91, passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born to Cedric and Mary Moxley on June 17, 1934, in Nortonville, Kansas. He was the fourth of five sons. His family moved to Wichita during the boom of the war years for better opportunity, thus starting the long family tradition of aircraft employment.

Ralph was hired at Beech Aircraft in 1952 as a Radio and Electrical assembler and retired as a Plant Manager after 40 years in 1992. He was described as a fair but no nonsense boss and expected your best every day. He took pride in being a valued Beechcrafter.

Him and Juanita Hill were married in December of 1955. They met at Beech, where he said she would work and he would watch her work. Together they worked at Beech, they traveled to Germany during his deployment, and raised three children in Rose Hill, Kansas. After they retired, they traveled extensively with friends for many years and enjoyed their country house between Andover and Augusta with their loyal golden retriever, Bo. He also drove cars all around the country for the Frye Brothers of Augusta, and played golf wherever he went.

Ralph enjoyed all sports. He was a Semi Pro baseball player in his younger years. Later, he played league softball in Wichita. He bowled in a Beech bowling league, and played on their basketball team. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies after retirement, often beating them all and winning a little money every day. Gardening was also one of his hobbies. Depending on the year, Juanita would tell him to pull the plants because she got tired of canning all of the produce.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita; Cedric and Mary Moxley, two brothers, Hugh and Jack Moxley.

Ralph is survived by his children, Lisa J. (Kevin) Callahan, Pamela J. (David) Mark, Christopher D. (Shawn) Moxley; grandchildren, Kimbra (Marcus) Heriford, Kristin (Julio) Gurrola, Michael Cooley, Michele (Steve) Ciesiun, Shelly (Austin) Callahan, Shannon (Ethan) Rutter, Brandon Moxley, and Blaine Moxley; great-grandchildren, 15; siblings, Kent and Harry Moxley.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Monday, February 9, 2026, with visitation one hour prior, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037.
