Albert Ralph Naylor, known lovingly as Ralph, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on April 1, 1953, in Logan, Utah, Ralph spent the majority of his life in service to others and in devotion to his family, faith, and community.
Ralph worked with diligence and integrity for 32 years as a Computer Specialist at Hill Air Force Base. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many talents and passions. As a gifted musician Ralph led music in church services for 51 years, inspiring countless hearts through his leadership and song. He also found joy in woodworking-building birdhouses that continue to bring beauty and comfort to others. An avid fisherman and geocacher, Ralph had a deep love for the outdoors. Many knew him online as "Old Coot," a familiar and friendly presence on the Big Fish Tackle forum.
A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ralph's life reflected humility, kindness, and enduring faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Naylor; his mother, Opal Ann (Jenson) Naylor; his sisters, Betty Bayliff and MaRee Smith, and his beloved son, Benjamin Lee Naylor.
Ralph is survived by the love of his life, Mary Beth (Baker) Naylor; his daughters Lisa Marie Naylor (Dustin), Rachel Joy Galindo (Jose), and Emily Ann Adams (Jacob); and his cherished grandchildren: Ashlyn Sage Nance, Oakley Sierra Nance, Beckham Zackery Nance, McKayla Grace Adams, Ethan Brian Adams, and Jayden Jacob Adams.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 25 at the Clinton 13th Ward, 1708 W 800 N, Clinton, UT, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the West Point Cemetery following the service.
Ralph will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of faith, family, laughter, and craftsmanship will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he made.
