Ralph Douglas Smith

Ralph Douglas Smith, age 68 of Burkittsville, Md passed away peacefully at home on Nov 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 29, 1957, Ralph leaves his loving wife of 47 years Donna Wilson Smith, daughter Amy Cunningham, and Son Brandon Smith (Rachel).
Ralph's legacy continues on thru his children and Grandchildren, Payton Winpigler (Nicholas), Ayden, Addison Shackelford, Marilee, Aubree, Ethan, Molly, Salem Smith and great grandson Beckett Jones.
Ralph leaves behind sisters Susan Smothers (Andy) and Tina Smith. Brothers, Michael (Sherri), Alan (Cyndi), John, Kevin (Paula) and many nieces and nephews.
Ralph shared special friendships with all his Brother/sister in-laws, as well as many dear friends and our loving Georgia Family.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou Markett and Ralph Clayton Smith.
Ralph started working on many farms in his younger years, then onto Treeland Nursery, United Concrete Co. before starting his own company R.D.Smith Concrete Co. His declining health forced him into retirement.
Ralph enjoyed playing Golf, playing 9-ball with the APA Pool League, the slots and enjoying life with his beloved family and friends.
We will be having a celebration of life on January 3, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Brunswick Fire Department, 1500 Volunteer Dr. Brunswick, Md.
