I had the privilege of playing golf with Ralph in the late 90’s when he was playing senior Pro golf. He once hit a drive ( when he was old not sure how old) 320 yards! After the drive he turned to the group in his Kansas accent “Who said pitchers can’t hit the balll” what a cool dude loved that man God bless the family

A talented pitcher and player. A memorable career. Sincere sympathies to the Terry family, so very sorry for loss.

Solid workhorse hurler, who had a very respectable MLB career. 20 game winner, World Series MVP, All-Star, League Leader in several categories, and an excellent career "WHIP" statistic over 1849.1 Innings pitched, were some of Ralph's noteworthy accomplishments. Ralph's 4 hit complete game shutout in Game 7 of the '62 World Series, against a powerhouse 103 (regular season) win Giants team, was legendary.
Ralph was an notable golfer, as well. A PGA Section Champion, who qualified for multiple PGA Tour and Senior Tour events. The Senior Tour is replete with golfing legends who still play at an elite level, and Ralph had a Top 10 finish on that stage.
Congratulations on an admirable life of high achievement, Ralph. Safe at home.
