TIPP CITY -- Ralph Norman Underwood, age 94, of Tipp City, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 25, 1926 to the late John Forman Underwood & Hilda M. Conway (Elleman) in Tipp City, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Wesley Underwood, Paul Underwood, Pauline Weiss, and John Underwood. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Helen Irene (Schwartz) Underwood of 73 years; children Steve (Pam) Underwood of Dayton, Rodney (Joy) Underwood of West Milton, Pat Underwood of Tipp City, and Judy (Kent) Snyder of Troy; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He was member of the Miami County Mounted Patrol and Troy View Church of God. Ralph also was a 4-H advisor and loved woodworking, farming, horses and camping.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 AM on Friday, September 17, 2021 with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy View Church of God, 1770 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373. Online memories of Ralph may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com.
