Ralph A. Walsh

Ralph A. Walsh, 85, born on January 9, 1933, in Los Angeles, California, passed away September 3, 2018, in Mission Viejo, Ca. Ralph is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Steven and Bruce Walsh, and daughter Stacy Gallamore, pre deceased by son Mark, parents Ralph A and Vesta Walsh and brother Edwin. Ralph is also survived by grandchildren Richard, Cassandra, Patrick Walsh, Amber Schumacher, Kevin Kelly, Paul and Dominique Betancourt. Great grandchildren Makayla, Mason, Cora, Ammon and Cyrus. Ralph left a legacy of love for his family, and he truly lived for his law enforcement family as well. Ralph was an Orange County Sheriff's Deputy for 47 years, and 5 years as a Brea police officer. Known to all of his law enforcement friends as "Knobby". Ralph loved air flight, as he was a Naval reserve on the K Ship blimps at LTA in Santa Ana, Ca. Ralph enjoyed several hobbies including building models and Radio controlled boats. He was a rifle marksman and enjoyed target shooting, and as well an amateur gold prospector. Ralph previously volunteered at a horse therapy stable for disabled children, and he also volunteered at Yanks Air Museum at Chino Airport, restoring vintage airplanes. Ralph also loved travel and he and his wife Nancy were able to enjoy several trips around the world and USA, including Europe, Asia, Mexico and Canada. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "Project 999" in Ralph's name.
