Ramon Garcia, Sr. Obituary
Ramon Garcia, age 85 of Casa Grande. Passed away at home on Saturday November 23rd, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 22nd, 1939 in Mercedes, Texas. On July 1, 1959 in Weslaco, Texas, he married his wife, Amparo (Rivera) Garcia.
Ramon migrated from south Texas to central California (Salinas Valley) in 1961, to become a prominent Grower, Packer and Shipper of fresh vegetables as a business owner of Hacienda Farms, Encinal Packing and G & A Produce Sales for several years. He also was a cotton grower in the Casa Grande area in his latter years.
Survivors include, his loving wife of 65 years, Amparo R. Garcia of Casa Grande; beloved children, Ramon Garcia Jr., of Arizona City; Eddie Garcia of Salinas, CA; Danny Garcia of Casa Grande and Naomi Garcia of Casa Grande. Dear brother of Amelia Aguilar of Donna, TX; Guadalupe Garcia of Edcouch, TX and George Garcia of Edcouch, TX.. Also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Jose Garcia and Ignacia Garcia; brothers, Santiago Garcia; Juan Garcia and Javier Cisneros.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 2nd, 2024 from 9:00a.m - 11:00a.m; followed by Funeral Services at 11:00a.m both at J Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, 525 N. Peart Road, Casa Grande. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Casa Grande.
