Ramon Jaramillo Obituary
Ramon was born on January 16, 1957 in Santa Rosa to Agustine Gonzales and Gabrielita Jaramillo. Ramon was raised in Anton Chico, NM and attended school in Anton Chico and Santa Rosa. Ramon was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a waiter at various restaurants in Santa Rosa and in Denver, CO. Ramon married Eleanor Encinias in Santa Rosa on October 30, 1997.
Ramon enjoyed several hobbies, including; singing, playing the harmonica, playing poker on the phone and painting pictures.
Ramon is preceded in death by his grandmother: Felicita Jaramillo, brothers: Martin Jaramillo, Peter Lucero and Harold Lucero and his sister: Patsy Lucero.
Ramon is survived by his wife: Eleanor, of Santa Rosa, mother: Gabrielita Jaramillo (Oneal Wolf) of Tecolotito, NM, his siblings: Eileen Martha (Robert) of Maple, TX, Lucy Lucero of Littlefield, TX, Jose Lucero, Jr of Las Vegas, NM, Gilbert Lucero (Esther) of Littlefield, TX, Gerald Lucero of Las Vegas, NM, sister-in-law: Linda Encinias (Miguel Murguia Estupiñan) of Pueblo, CO, brothers-in-law: Paul Encinias (Doris) of Broomfield, CO and Alex Encinias (Lita) of Colorado Springs, CO, (step-daughter: Debra Farris (Dewon) of Pueblo, CO and step-son: Paul Valero of Pueblo, Co. Ramon is also survived by his step-grandchildren: Andrew Montelango (Marissa), Ramdin Farris, Izzañte Farris and Christopher Valero, step-greatgrandchildren: Ryan Montelango, Riley Montelango, Rory Montelango and Landin Salazar-all of Pueblo, Co., and special Aunt: Mary Ann Aguilar of Santa Rosa and special cousin Esther Velasquez of Santa Rosa, as well as numerous family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, January 20, 2023, from 1-4pm, at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa.
Funeral service for Ramon will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11am at the Church of Christ in Santa Rosa, with Keith Ross officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Rosa, with Gilbert Lucero, Jose Lucero, Esther Velasquez, Dwayne Velasquez, Rebecca Federico and Freddy Silva serving as Pallbearers.
