Ramona Frisina

Ramona Frisina, 96 of Taylorville, passed away on March 22, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1928, in Taylorville, the daughter of Atillio and Clara Bertucci. She graduated from Taylorville High School in 1946. She married Antonino (Tony) Frisina on June 12, 1955; he preceded her in death on September 15, 2009. Ramona was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son: Peter Frisina (Amy Stone) of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren: Cole Stone-Frisina and Tate Stone-Frisina; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Camilla Blakeman, Enrico Bertucci, Mafalda Levernier, Yolanda Collebrusco, Sonny Bertucci, John Mooney, David Mooney, and Ronnie Mooney.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, with a prayer service at 3:45 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday March 27, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville with Father John Burnette officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville.
