Ramona Muniz Obituary
A funeral service will be held at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, WI on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. with Fr. Milot Fredrique officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home for visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown, WI. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.
Ramona "Mona" was born on January 20, 1939 in Sabinal, Texas to parents Juan and Juanita (Sanchez) Musquez. On December 23, 1956, Ramona was united in marriage to Jose Angel Muniz Sr. Mona dedicated her working years to Aunt Nellies and to ZBM, Inc.
She enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas and doing word search books. Mona loved spending time playing with her grandchildren. She was also deeply faithful and made sure to pray daily.
Ramona is survived by her children, Rosie (Modesto) Cordoha of Watertown, WI, Jose Angel (Russell) Muniz, Jr. of Racine, WI, Lisa (Arturo) Reyna of Watertown, WI, Richard (Jean) Muzquez of Sabinal, TX, Becky (Juan) Garza of Watertown, WI, Ben (Patty) Valdez of Sabinal, TX, Belinda Gonzales of San Antonio, TX, Bel (Mitzi) Muniz of Watertown, WI, Sonja (Jose) Cruz of Watertown, WI, and Jessica (Raul) Castro of Watertown, WI; grandchildren, Juan (Kaitlyn) Reyna of Watertown, Aaden Renya of Watertown, Maria (Dylan) Reyna of Watertown, Thor Bulka of Watertown, Michael Musquez of Sabinal, TX, Tara Leal of Sabinal, TX, Marlon Muniz of Watertown, Vanessa Montenegro of Watertown, Jc Cruz of Watertown, Marianna Castro of Watertown, Sunny Valdez of Sabinal, TX, Robert Valdez of Sabinal, TX, Amii Vadez of Sabinal, TX, Binii Valdes of Sabinal, TX and Jaden, Gonzales of San Antonio, TX; great grandchildren; and sister, Dolores Valdes of Sabinal, Tx; as well as other relatives and friends.
Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Muniz, Sr.; parents, Juan and Juanita Musquez; brother, Victor Musquez; and sister, Eustolia Musquez.
