Ramona Gayle Wilson was born to Jewell Lee Fisher (deceased) and Calvin Norris

Greely (deceased) on May 14, 1962 in El Campo, Texas. Gayle proudly laid claim to the title of

"Baby Girl" of the family. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Austin, Texas in

1980. In 1984, she married Alfred Wilson, Jr., and a year later, they were blessed with the birth

of their only child, Alfred Wilson, III.

Gayle accepted the Lord and was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Greater

Love Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Marlin R. Carter, and after his passing,

Pastor Isaac Grant, Jr.. She thereafter joined Diakonos - A House of Servants, where she served

faithfully until she earned her wings.

Gayle attended Wharton Jr College in Wharton, Texas, and Austin Community College in

Austin, Texas.. She was employed for many years as a dietitian at St David's Hospital in

Austin, Texas. After the birth of her grandsons, Tre'vion Wilson and Terrell Wilson, and with

the blessing and support of her devoted Husband, Alfred Wilson, Jr., she chose to stay at home

and help raise and nurture them.

Gayle enjoyed being active in Church, the Society of Sisters, Bible Study Fellowship

(BSF), and was in Chaplain training as part of the Pneuma Ministry (Pastoral Care Team) at

Diakonas. She enjoyed cooking and is reknown for her sweet potato pies. She was an

entrepreneur of a jewelry business which she fondly named Jewells Bling Paradise in

remembrance of her Mother, Jewell. Gayle was a purse and makeup connoisseur, owning enough

purses and makeup to stock a department store. But her greatest joy came from raising her

grandsons, Tre'vion and Terrell.

Gayle leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband, Alfred Wilson, Jr; her son,

Alfred Wilson, III; her grandchildren Tre'vion Wilson and Terrell Wilson; her siblings Atty.

Beverly J. Greely of Houston, Texas, Lawrence J. Greely of Taylor, Texas, Annette M. Greely of

Taylor, Texas, Homer Calvin Fisher, Jr. of Austin, Texas, Kevin Greely of Teague, Texas,

Martin of Beaumont, Texas, Sherry Shillow (Gerald Shillow, Sr) of Pflugerville, Texas and Julia

Dumas (Cedric) of Port Arthur Texas; her Special Aunt Rosie Herring Gage of Austin, Texas,

and host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell Lee Fisher and Calvin Norris Greely;

by her father-in-law Alfred Wilson, Sr.; and by her sister, Jacqueline Renee Greely.
