Randall Couture

Randall S. "Randy" Couture, age 56, lifelong area resident, passed away on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at the Norlite Nursing Center in Marquette, while in the loving care of his family, UP Home Health and Hospice, and Nursing Home staff.
Randy was born in Ishpeming on October 2, 1968, son of Margaret (Gallagher) Couture, and the late Arthur Couture. He was a graduate of Westwood High School with the class of 1987. Randy worked for many years as a CNA at the Mather Nursing Home, a custodian at Bothwell Middle School, and most recently as a general laborer at National Carbon.
Randy was a member of the Ishpeming Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed fishing, weight training, and was in to fitness.
Randy is survived by his wife- Sondra (Stanaway) Couture whom he married on June 24, 1994, 2 children- Jamey (Thomas Latza) Couture, Dylan Couture, mother- Margaret (Gallagher) Couture, brother- Timothy (Elisa) Couture, nephew- Tommy Couture, aunt- Mary Beth Bock, along with several in-law's, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father- Arthur Couture, and brother- Todd Couture.
Randy's family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm on Monday July 14, 2025 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm with Frank Misale officiating. A celebration will follow the service at Randy's daughter Jamey's home located at 135 Vine St. Ishpeming, MI 49849 where all are welcome to share stories and where food will be served.
