Randall "Neal" Marsh, 71, of Miskimon, Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 20, 2025. Neal was preceded in death by his father, Randall Leroy Marsh, his mother, Frances Grubbs Marsh, and his grandson, Hayden Neal Marsh. He is survived by his children, Andrew Marsh (Alison), Sherry VanLandingham (Brad), and Timothy Marsh; his grandchildren, Brady and Sydney VanLandingham and Ethan and Corbin Marsh. He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Moss (Jimmy), Mary Crawford (Bob), David Wayne Marsh (Becky), Donna Wilkins (Robert), and Susan Humphreys (David); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Neal was a lifelong member and devoted volunteer with the Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department. He was an employee of Lancaster County Public Schools for many years and was also involved with the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts. Neal lived for camping, gardening, and time with his grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church in Miskimon, Virginia with reception to follow at the Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hayden Marsh Scholarship Fund c/o Sherry VanLandingham, P.O. Box 122, Lively, VA 22507.
