Randall Reese was born October 6, 1957, in
Tulsa, Oklahoma but spent much of his youth in Dawson with his grandmother. The youngest child of Carl and Wanda Reese. The family, along with many friends, has lost a wonderful man. He lived to make others happy. His sense of humor and love of life will be greatly missed.
Randall began his career in California where he worked as a paramedic, at his uncle's ambulance company in 1974. This experience increased his love for helping people. He went to serve in the military from December of 1981 to July of 1994 for the United States Army, 82nd and 101st Airborne, and apart of Signal Corps. Then again, he served from February 2003 to March of 2005.
He was an adventurous man jumping out of airplanes and exploring new lands. Randall attended the Defense Language Institute learning foreign languages in
Monterey, California. During his career he traveled to multiple countries on behalf of the United States Military including Germany where he met his beautiful wife with whom he started the family he so adored. He married Gerda Hufnagel February 26, 1988.
In his retirement from the military Randall never slowed down. He continued to strive for excellence by going to school and achieving a degree at Tulsa Community College. He worked long hours at a security company and volunteered much of his time for the Catholic Charities. Understanding and teaching the word of the Lord was a big part of Randall's life. Randall loved conversation with anyone he encountered, leaving big shoes to fill with his desire, ambition, and knowledge that he obtained. His excitement came from acquiring antiques, helping at churches, and teaching people young or old. Most of all his excitement came from spending time with loved ones. The people in his life definitely gave him his energy and put the smile on his face.
Randall is survived by his wife – Gerda Reese. His children – Michelle, Steven, David, and Eric Reese. His grandchildren – Hayven, Navy, Gracelyn, and Daniel. As well as his older brother Darrell.
