Randall L. Steele

Randall L. Steele, age 73 of Celina, Ohio was called home to his eternal life on July 12, 2022 by our Heavenly Father.
Randy was born in Celina, on September 18, 1948 to Clifford Steele and Virginia Gibbons Steele Rumple, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, LaDoyt Rumple and sister Christine Steele George.
He attended Celina High School, graduated from Parkway High School and attended Immaculate Conception Church.
Randy is survived by his sister, Janet (Mike) Riley, brother, Randy (Ruth) Rumple of Rockford, Ohio and brother-in-law, Michael George of Houston, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy had a curious mind and a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed reading and watching programs that dealt with science and history. He was a quiet soul, a man of few words and more concerned about the people who showed God's love than the cultural issues of his time. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to thank the area health professionals who helped him maintain his quality of life for so many years as well as the staff at the OSU Ross Heart Center for the care that was recently provided.
Lastly, the family wishes to thank those invisible people who would anonymously buy Randy a meal when they saw him at a local restaurant. We do not know your names, but our heavenly Father does and we pray that you are showered with many blessings. Your act of kindness and generosity was an example of what it means to live a Christian life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IC Endowment Fund 229 W. Anthony St. Celina, Ohio 45822 or a charity of your choice.
