Randall Warnock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Townsend Brothers Funeral Home - Dublin on Jan. 1, 2026.
Randall Warnock, 64, of East Dublin, left his beloved earthly home and was joyfully received into its heavenly counterpart the morning of Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Randall was born on April 9, 1961, in Dublin, GA to Bobby and Joyce Warnock (deceased). Raised in East Dublin amongst a slew of brothers, sisters, cousins, and friends, his childhood was filled with humble (and hilarious) adventures, valuable life lessons, and close-knit relationships that continued to enrich his life throughout its entirety.

After attending school in Adrian, Randall finally, and with great pleasure, found himself with the time to do what he always loved most…working outdoors with his hands and heavy equipment.

He spent his entire career (and much of his free time) honing a craft he'd held dear since childhood. One sister remarking about his pond building abilities, "He was the only kid I knew who could dig a hole with his trucks and actually get it to hold water." After many years working with heavy equipment in various capacities, he dedicated his final years to serving his home county of Laurens as Road Supervisor, a role in which he was greatly valued and appreciated.

While Randall was blessed to spend his life doing what he loved (including a long and successful stint in the racing world as the beloved #9 Bomber), his family was his world. Marrying Robin Linn Warnock in July of 1983, and welcoming their treasured only daughter, Reanna, a few years later, he spent much of his life gratefully nurturing and cherishing all the beauty with which the Lord had blessed him. Which only continued to grow with the gifting of his much-adored son (in-law), Blake Osburn, and his precious and priceless granddaughters, Lennon and Hattie.

Along with his sweet family, Randall leaves behind a group of siblings with whom he had an unshakeable bond. His brother, best friend, and near-constant companion, David Warnock (Sonya), brother Alvin Johnson, and three sisters, Debra Bethel (Butch), Donna Haggard (Keith, deceased), and Denise Bedgood (Jerry). He also leaves behind many grieving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and an adoring bulldog, Mac.

In addition to his parents, Randall is also preceded in death by his childhood hero and beloved brother, Mitchell (Mickey) Warnock.

Randall Warnock was a gentle giant among men. Ever-lending, ever-helpful, and ever-giving of everything he possibly could. The shirt off his back, the last crumb on his table, the last minute left in his schedule, the last dime in the pocket of his faded blue jeans…any and all were welcome to any and all of it.

He loved equipment. He loved tractors. Jeeps. Race cars. The woods. Time at the family camphouse...especially time at the camphouse. The list is endless. But like the Lord he followed, Randall loved the people those things involved more. And it shows in the testimonies received by the family since his passing. It seems as if he's never met a human he didn't love and love to help. He was raised in Union Baptist Church, became a member as an adult, even serving as a Deacon for a time, but his membership and positions held weren't what proved his faith. His trust in Jesus and the works of love he poured on others as a result of that trust were. Randall was a man who chose living the Bible over simply quoting it.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Be no respecter of persons.

Take great care of your family.

Be humble, meek, tender-hearted.

Work heartily as for the Lord.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.

Randall Warnock didn't walk this world alone. He walked it with the Lord. In every single, selfless act, he was led. He was helped. He was held. Right up until the moment God took his hand for one final time on this side and walked him into his final reward for all the amazing love he left behind. He may be gone, but his legacy of loving kindness and selfless acts are certain to ripple not just far and wide in this generation, but in many, many to come.

The family is receiving visitation of those who want to offer condolences at The Warnock Camphouse. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Warnock and Rev. Dwayne Clements officiating.

Internment will follow at the Warnock Family Cemetery/Camphouse.

Mitch Foster, Claude Sutton, Kevin Tanner, Justin Warnock, Jason Bedgood, Derek Bethel, Matt Bethel, Charley Johnson, and Tony Slade will serve as pallbearers.
