Obituary
Randall "Randi" S. Wulf, age 52, of
Elkhorn, WI died October 2, 2023, at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. Randi was born on July 12, 1971, in
Elkhorn, WI; son of Linda and the late Stuart Wulf. He achieved Bachelor's Degrees in education and technology education from the University of Platteville. Randi went on to teach Physical Education at the Elkhorn Area High School, in the community he grew up in. On May 25, 1996, he and Nikki L. Walter were married at St. Patrick's Church of
Elkhorn, WI. Their relationship began by playing volleyball together during their summers home from college. Randi was an all-around good athlete, competing on the college level as a long jumper and sprinter; the same events his daughter, Shannon, now competes in while wearing the Platteville uniform. Randi then took his athletic talent to the classroom and the gymnasium instilling his knowledge, kindness, compassion and competitive edge to the students that he taught. He also enjoyed running so much to the point where he would dedicate an entire season each year to coaching Cross Country. He was a major influence to many young men and women as they went through the Elkhorn School District. On more of a personal note, Randi was known to be able to fix anything. He was a "jack of all trades" from carpenter, electrician, plumber, mechanic to woodworker, and if he didn't know how to do something he would figure it out and complete it like a pro. He was a beekeeper who tended to a number of hives on his property; loved trout fishing and really anything to do with nature. He, Nikki and their girls would go explore hiking trails at various National and State Parks. Randi always had a smile on his face. He was loved and will be missed by so many. Randi was preceded in death by his father, Stuart. He is survived by his mother, Linda; his wife, Nikki; daughters, Shannon and Megan; twin sister, Lori (Ken) Reynolds and their children, Brent and Jenell; father and mother-in-law, Lyle and Karen Walter; brother-in-law Gerry (Sandy) Walter and their daughter, Nola; sister-in-law Kim Walter (Patrick Day) and their daughters, Karina and Aliana; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elkhorn High School Agility Center on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 12 PM – 2 PM. A Memorial Tribute will take place in the Elkhorn High School Gymnasium at 2 PM following the gathering.
