Randell Warren "Randy" Phillips, age 59, passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022, at his residence after extended illness. He was born in Claxton on August 16, 1963 and had lived in Tattnall County all of his life. Earlier in his life, Randy was employed with Georgia Department of Transportation and was a farmer. He loved fishing, trapping, watching the Atlanta Falcons and listening to Southern Rock. Randy was a fan of Elvis Presley his entire life. He was of the Baptist Faith and is preceded in death by his parents, Connie Mincey and Charlie Phillips; and a brother, Charlie Wendell "Wendy" Phillips.
He is survived by his children, Dalton (Nicolette) Phillips of Austin, TX, and Presley Phillips of Reidsville; nephews, Jasper, Jesse, Sheldon and Payton Phillips; niece, Jessica Kirkland; several great nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral services will be conducted 12:00pm on Friday, September 2, 2022, from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Cade Kirkland and Sister Linda Durrence officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am.
The family has asked that you wear your favorite, Elvis, Falcons, or Southern Rock shirt to the service.
