Randi Rote Obituary
1958-2025
Randi Rote, of Sandy Hook, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend passed away peacefully at home May 5, 2025, after a courageous 10-year battle with multiple myeloma. Randi was born in New York City on November 5, 1958, to Nathan and Myrna Silver.
Randi graduated from the University of Buffalo where she met Chuck, the love of her life, with whom she spent over 43 years. Randi loved teaching kindergarten as well as her jobs as school director and circulation clerk at the C.H. Booth Library. She was a talented painter and voracious reader. She enjoyed traveling and coffee with friends, but, most of all, time with her children and grandchildren.
Randi is survived by her husband, Chuck, sons Andrew (Tracy) and Alex (Stacie) and grandchildren Wesley, Zoey, Gavin and Sydney. She is predeceased by her father and her sister, Hillary.
A celebration of Randi's Life will be held at a later date to be announced.

I am so very sorry to see that Randi has passed. I always enjoyed seeing her at the check in desk at the hospital. May she have eternal peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I love Randi I enjoyed talking to her and seeing her smile after she got her haircut. The salon will miss her.
