Randy Clements, age 81, of La Verkin, Utah, passed away peacefully at home, in the company of family, on October 15, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1944, to Audery Ellen Smith and Randy Seaton. Later, he was lovingly adopted and raised by his father, Kenneth Culmer Clements.
On January 8, 1966, Randy married his cherished companion, Bonnie Jean Bartlett, in the Los Angeles, California Temple. For 20 years, they shared a passion for creating beautiful metal artwork, a testament to their teamwork and creativity. They would have celebrated 60 years together this upcoming year.
In high school, Randy was a champion wrestler and a proud alumnus of Delta High School. He worked for and served his country in the United States Air Force for 35 years, including during the Vietnam War. Randy was a gifted mechanic, known for his remarkable ability to fix anything. He was resourceful and inventive, having once salvaged a truck trailer from a fire using a massive log to assist a complete stranger. His quick problem-solving skills and willingness to lend a hand made him a beloved figure in his community.
He had a deep love for animals, particularly his dogs. His devotion to his pets was evident when he refused to leave his dog behind for life-saving surgery.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Randy was passionate about church history and theology. He magnified his callings and cherished the Book of Mormon teachings and its archaeological settings. He dedicated countless hours to building handcarts for the church's youth that they used on their treks.
Randy's adventurous spirit took him around the world; he traveled to Hawaii many times, enjoyed going on cruises with his wife, visited temples in Mexico, lived in Holland for four years, and explored various countries throughout Europe.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Nichols Clements, his parents, and his sister, Deana Clements,. He leaves behind a loving legacy, surviving through his devoted wife, Bonnie, and their children: Randy Joe (Olena) Clements, Carrie Lynn (Paul) Greenwall, Stacie Leigh Clements, Charity Jane Clements, Dustin David (Saiqa) Clements, Jared Scott Clements, and Holly Christine Fields.
