Randy Collins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davis-Turner Funeral Home on Jan. 19, 2026.
Randy Joe Collins, 63 of Lynchburg Ohio, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Huntington West Virginia. He was born on September 23, 1962, in Fort Knox Kentucky.
Randy was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 27 years, Jill Ann Pendelton Collins; his father, Charles Edward Collins; his mother, Zola Carolyn Woodyard Collins; his brother, David Clint Collins; his nephew, Nathan Allen Whitenack.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Brian (Ruth) Collins; sister Debra (Richard) Whitenack; his brother, Kevin Lee Collins and along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and good friends.
Although Randy and Jill did not have children together, he lovingly considered Jill's children his own. He is survived by Chad (Karen) Myers, and Derrick Dean; eight grandchildren, Myra Myers, Lyla Myers, Nolan Myers, Jameson Myers, Connor Taylor, Cash Cox, Colton Dean and Claire Dean.
Randy worked for many years at Ahresty Wilmington, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was a faithful member of The Pricetown Church of Christ where he was baptized.
Randy will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and easygoing nature. He found happiness in the simple things-fishing, mushroom hunting, sharing stories, and spending time with the people he loved most. Whether he was offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, Randy made those around him feel welcomed and valued. He deeply cherished his family and friends, and his presence brought comfort and ease to everyone he met. Randy will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially those closest to his heart.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory are serving the family. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Randy Collins, please visit our floral store.
