Randy Dellinger

Randy Dellinger 1952-2017 Gastonia - Randy Dean Dellinger, 64, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain with his loving family by his side. Randy was born in Gaston County and is the son of Willa Beddingfield Dellinger and the late Rodney Dellinger. Randy was a HVAC Technician with Gaston County Schools and was owner of Dellinger Heating and Air Company. Randy loved music. He loved to play guitar, keyboard and write songs. He was a great song writer. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Karen Stewart Dellinger; mother, Willa Beddingfield Dellinger of Gastonia; loving son, Drew Dellinger and wife Kara of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; loving daughter, Leah Smith and husband Darren of Gastonia; two brothers, Jay Dellinger and wife Donna of Myrtle Beach, Dennis Dellinger of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Cindy Calhoun and husband Terry of Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Addilyn Dellinger, Brynleigh Dellinger, Layton Smith, Lawson Smith, Keaton Rae Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Parker officiating.
