Randy Neil Dotson, born in Muleshoe, Texas, on May 12, 1948, to Elizabeth "Betty" (Neil) Dotson and Ivan Lavon Dotson, passed awy on February 7, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 77.
Randy was united in marriage to Scheryl Ann Dotson on January 2, 1992, in Princeton, Texas, who preceded him in death on June 22, 2020. Throughout his life, Randy cherished the joy of family gatherings and had a fondness for old western movies. He devoted his career to driving trucks and operated heavy equipment for his brother, Ray, at Eagle Clean-Up.
He is survived by two daughters, Tina Cardwell of Sallisaw, OK, and Stacie Carter and Mike of Sallisaw, OK; one son, Jason Rogers and Lisa of Van Buren, AR; six grandchildren, Dustin Cardwell of Sallisaw, OK, Bailey Carter and Angel of Sallisaw, OK, Joshua Carter and Kristy of Hartford, AR, Nathan Rogers of Van Buren, AR, Robert Wymer of Van Buren, AR, and Nathan Wymer of Van Buren, AR; and six great-grandchildren, Landree, Nash, Morgan, Dakota, Gabby and Justin;
Randy is also survived by one brother, Ray Dotson and Kathy of Van Alstyne, TX; one sister, Connie Adcock of Leonard, TX; as well as several other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lavon and Betty (Neil) Dotson; his wife, Scheryl Dotson; four brothers, Douglas, Bunky, Dale, and Johnny Dotson; and three sisters, Sandra Charity, Katie Hopwood, and Terry McAdams.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home, the nurses, kitchen staff, and other staff, as well as Complete Hospice and Home Health, and special friend, Lou Ella Kennedy, for their compassionate care during his final days.
A Memorial Service to honor Randy's life will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
