Randy William Kruizenga, age 62, passed away on November 24, 2024, surrounded by family. Randy was born on December 29, 1961, in Kalamazoo, MI; the son of Charles and Linda (Stuart) Kruizenga.
Randy was an amazing husband to his wife of 41 years Kim Kruizenga (Hooker). He was a loving dad, brother, Uncle and friend to many. Randy loved riding dirt bikes with his family and dedicated his time making a dirt bike track for his two sons, friends, and neighbors to enjoy. He had a wide array of interests as an avid golfer, hunter, and tennis player, with a love for bicycling, music, and films. His musical talent shone through as a drummer by jamming with his brother Jeff, at home with his son, and during church services. Randy cherished the time spent with his family, and especially enjoyed attending his grandkids' baseball games. He spent many hours cutting wood, whether he liked it or not.
Randy was a dedicated and talented programmer at Wyser Innovative for almost two decades. He enjoyed sharing his love as a mixologist for many employee parties which gave him great joy.
Randy is survived by his wife, Kim (Hooker) Kruizenga, sons, Mitch (Heidi Snoap) Kruizenga and Colton Kruizenga (Chelsea Ginsburg), grandchildren, Grant, Molly, Aiden, and Paul, siblings, Jeff (Beth Busfield) Kruizenga, Robin (Craig) Craven, and Toni (Jeff) Bredeweg, parents in law, Art and Connie Hooker, and brother in law: John (Jill) Hooker. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. Many of Randy's nephews and nieces were very much involved in his life and loved by him.
Randy's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at Leighton Church (4180 2nd St. Caledonia, MI 49316). Celebration of life will begin at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family would kindly suggest monetary gifts designated for the purchase of trees to be planted by the family in honor of Randy. Remaining funds will go towards unforeseen expenses.
