Randy Bevil Lister, age 37, of Tooele, formerly of Roosevelt, Utah, passed away December 13, 2024, at the University of Utah Hospital from a congenital heart defect.
He was born September 3, 1987, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Jackie Leigh and Kevin Lister. He married Heidi Black on July 11, 2024, in Utah County.
Randy was born with a heart defect and then as he got older, his hearing started to fade – it seemed like life was against him. He was not treated well by people because of it and had to “fix” a few of them. He left high school early so he could go to work with his father hauling wood and trimming trees. He was an amazing worker for years, but, unfortunately, he got to the point that he couldn’t do it anymore.
Randy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved and excelled at cooking and training dogs (though his dad was bitten and almost got food poisoning a few times). They had great and fun times throughout the years. “I Love That Man.” – Dad.
Randy is survived by his wife, Heidi, of Tooele; his son, Kenneth Grant Lister; his parents, Kevin & Velvet Lister; Jackie Leigh; grandparents, Richard & Julene Lister, St. George; siblings, Mike & Engel Lister, Brenda Lister, Vince & Tanya Clements, Brandon Clements, Jesse & NormaJean Clements, Amanda & Harley Arrowchis, Hailie Masters, Adreanna Stevenson, Xavier Stevenson, Elushun Stevenson; and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Birtha Leigh, Verl Bleazard; great-grandparents, Mark & Evelyn Bleazard; aunt and uncles, Barbara & Ralph Freeman, and Grant Lister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt West Stake Center (150 Skyline Drive). There will be a viewing that morning at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
