Randy Smith Obituary
Randy met the love of his life, Lisa, and they were married on June 12, 1999. After many vocations, including construction, radio and television work, manager, insurance salesman, and maintenance work, he retired from the Veteran's Administration Hospital. Randy fought hard for 13 years with multiple myeloma and the last two years especially with side effects from that disease.
His favorite things to do were fishing, playing bingo, coloring, and theater work. He also devoted his life to helping in recovery. Randy loved his family, along with his dog and cats. He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dwight.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Randy Smith Jr.; brothers, Ronnie Jordan, Steve Smith, and David Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 9:00am with a funeral service starting at 10:00am at Park Hill Baptist Church; 201 E C Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Burial will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 10:00am at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Park Hill Baptist Church or the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society.
