Randy Levar Smith, 48 years old, of Odessa, Texas passed away Tuesday May 6, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Randy was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Sheila Vernon Collins and George Raymond Smith on March 18, 1977. He went to school at Permian High School. He married Angela Braziel-Smith on September 28, 2014, in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a pumper in the oil field for SMS for 4 years. He was a veteran and served 11 years in the Air Force.
Randy is preceded in death by his mother Shelia Vernon Collins, dad George Raymond Smith, grandfather Vernon Collins and grandmother Miltrue Collins.
Randy is survived by his wife Angela Braziel-Smith, and nephew Omari Williams. His brother Derek Blackwell. and brother-in-law Rodney Braziel. His aunts and uncles Gene and Joann Collins, Debra, and Hubert Collins. His cousins, Demetrius Collins, Raynard Collins, Geno Collins, April Collins, Russell Collins, and Jessie Collins. His nephews Jalen Braziel, Jasiah Braziel, Devin Braziel, and Omari Williams.
The visitation has been set for Thursday May 15, 2025, from 1pm-9pm at Martinez Funeral Home chapel.
The celebration service of Randy’s life is set for 10am Friday May 16, 2025, at 6th and Jackson Church of Christ Church with Reverend Gene Collins sharing the eulogy.
Cremation will follow at a later date.
