It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Bernard Smith, who left us peacefully, and much too soon, on Monday, November 10, 2025.
An amazing and loving father and grandfather, Randy did everything he could to give his love, support, time and wisdom to his family. An expert outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and trapping, Randy was a legendary trophy deer and turkey hunter, having been listed in the Commemorative Bucks of Michigan record keeper multiple times. His loss is devastating, but his knowledge, intelligence, humor, compassion, devotion, and love will remain with his family, and help them weather their toughest storms.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Thelma (T.K) Smith; children, Kelly (Henry) Lindley, Kristy Smith, and Randy(Amanda) Smith; grandchildren Kylie, Makenna, Hunter(Justice), Olivia, Brooke, Brady, Pixie, and Peri; and his great-grandchildren, Layne, Hayes, and Holland; all of whom he loved so much and dedicated his life to.
A private family service will be held to honor his memory with a memorial of life to follow at a later date.
