Randy Tree Obituary

Visit the Heber Valley Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.
After a valiant fight with cancer, Randy Gordon Tree, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 16th, 2024 in Heber City, Utah. He was born on May 10th, 1964 in Heber City to James Marion and Nedra Tree. He married the love of his life Julie LeAnn on March 25th, 1987 in the Salt Lake City Temple and together they built a life and family they love.
They enjoy watching their three children grow: Jeffrey (Megan), Brady (Marissa), and Ashley as well as their twelve beautiful grandchildren: Boston, Jaden, Emma, Ellie, Marcus, Addy, Rylee, Maddie, Will, Gracie, Carson, and Lydia. His family always came first.
He was a valiant, devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was true to his testimony every day in every moment and was devoted to his Savior. He was an extraordinary example of love, humility, righteousness, service, gentleness, forgiveness, meekness, charity, and patience.
While he loved all things BYU (he literally bled blue), football, teaching, counseling, fishing, camping, and traveling, he loved sharing those experiences with family, friends, and students even more.
We find great comfort in knowing he is with his Savior, his parents, and two of his brothers.
We express sincere appreciation to all those who have shared so much love and service including his brother Rich, his ward members, his care team, and his nurse, Audrey.
We invite you to join his family listed above as well as his stepmom Vivian, siblings: Roger, Cory, Teri, Kelli, and other family members in honoring him. An evening viewing will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024. There will be a morning viewing from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. All services will be located at the Heber 8th Ward at 1205 West 650 South, Heber City, Utah 84032. Interment will follow the services at the Heber City Cemetery.
