Raphael Blackwell Jr.

Raphael Che' Blackwell, Jr. (Ralph) was born in Chicago, IL on May 17, 1989 to Ericka Davis. He was the eldest child of five children and leave to cherish his 4 vivacious surviving siblings, Antonia Ashley, Julia Ann, Nirah Kai and Destiny Mone'. Later, Ralph's great grandmother whom he adored and called Granny, (Thelma H. Davis) assisted in raising him with his mother. Raphael confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized in 1995 at Antioch Memorial Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate, Dr. Wilbur Nathan Daniel. In his early years, Ralph and his siblings attended church regularly with their granny and were active in the youth ministries. Ralph attended CICS Longwood Academy Elementary and High School in Chicago, IL. He later attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. He worked in the Job Corp program, U.S.A. Staffing, Inc. and his current position as a wrapper at Alside Supply. Raphael had a great fascination in technical & electrical devices, video games, loved rap music and occasionally free style rapping, as well as sports, basketball in particular as hobbies. Ralph had the most mesmerizing smile and had many fun-loving nicknames given by many that adored him. Whenever he walked into a room, he always wore a smile from ear to ear. His infamous smile was so mephitic you couldn't help but partake in joining him with a smile or giggles. Let's not forget his main adorning features, handsome looks and those lovely unforgettable colossal ears. Overall Ralph loved family, friends and any type of gatherings as long as family and close friends were around. He most of all adored and cherished his sisters, granny, mom and his only nephew Isaac. Raphael leaves to cherish loving memories with his mother Ericka Davis-Admin; Siblings, Antonia Ashley, Julia Ann, Nirah Kai and Destiny Mone'; Only nephew Isaac Christian; Great grandmother, Thelma H. Davis and Great aunt, Rose Waller (Michael); Father Rahman Mahmoud, Raphael Sr. and stepfather, Patrick Adim; Aunts, Aretha Davis-Townsend and Larisha Larie Streeter-Weems(David); Great aunt, Tequila Rollins (Stevie) & Great uncle, Russell Brown (Mrs. Brown); Uncles, Osman Mahmoud (Shareya); Daniel Channey (Sandra); Preceded in death his Grandmother, Julia Ann Davis and Uncle Carl Davis, Great uncle Jimmy Davis, Great aunt Elois E Davis-Streeter- as well as a host of many adored cousins, aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends.
