Rasheeda Thomas

Rasheeda Nyree Thomas, affectionately known as Sheedie, passed away peacefully on November 04, 2024. She was born on January 21, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Willie Thomas and Nathalie Wilson.
Rasheeda graduated from high school and dedicated her career to serving as a Collection Specialist. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her job, as well as her willingness to lend a hand to those in need.
Rasheeda was a devoted Christian, whose faith was a guiding force in her life. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends, often finding joy in family gatherings and travels. Her love for adventure and exploration created lasting memories for those lucky enough to share in those experiences.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Nathalie Wilson and Willie Thomas. Rasheeda is survived by her beloved spouse, Jonathan Boozer; children, Erica and Devonta Thomas; and her cherished relatives: Anita (Phil) Johnson, Angela (Derek) Gaines, Tapeka (Troy) Thomas, Katrina (Henry) Johnson, Willie Thomas Jr., Nathalie (Hilton) Thomas, and Yvette (Rodney) Austin. She also leaves behind her ex-husband, Eric Gonzales, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Rasheeda's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She touched the lives of many and will remain in our hearts forever.
In honor of Rasheeda's life, a service will be held at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service on November 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM. All are welcome to celebrate her legacy and share their memories.
