It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raul Martinez Constancio, aged 59, who was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 31, 2026, in Temple, Texas. Raul was born on July 3, 1966, in Del Rio, Texas, to Hervey Constancio and Elva Martinez.
Raul was a true cowboy at heart. He had a deep passion for team roping and a natural way with horses, forming a special bond with them that reflected his cowboy spirit. Anyone who knew him understood his love for sports - from playing baseball to proudly cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Raul had a strong spirit, a hearty laugh, and never shied away from speaking his mind, often proclaiming himself "an honest cowboy." Those who cross ed paths with him were often touched by his generosity, warmth, and larger-than-life personality.
From childhood, Raul held a deep love for Mexico, where he spent much of his time building lasting relationships and touching the lives of many. His heart was especially drawn to helping the less fortunate, offering his time, kindness, and support to families in need. These acts of compassion reflected the depth of his character and the values he carried with him throughout his life.
Raul leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his mother, Elva Olalde and step-father, Artemio Olalde; his daughter, Yadira Woods and her husband Kerry Woods; his son, Joe Constancio; his daughter, Brie Constancio; and his cherished grandchildren: Jaelen Woods, Daelya Constancio, Raul Constancio, Mia Constancio, Luna Liendo, and Antonio Jr. Liendo. He is also survived by his brothers, Herb and Daniel Constancio; his sisters, Elda McDonald and Silvia Constancio; and a beloved honorary Top Hand, Jacob Constancio, along with countless nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
